어제 포스트를 올리고 나서 올해 설날이 발렌타인데이와 겹친다는 사실을 안... 칼리오페..ㅠㅠ (응? 왜 울지? ㅎㅎ)
올해 공휴일은 이모저모 실용적으로 배치되었더니만 이렇게 경제적으로 설날과 발렌타인 데이가 겹치는 줄 어제 알았어요. 설날 선물 준비할 겸해서 발렌타인 데이 초콜릿을 준비하면 좋겠죠? 하지만, 추억거리로 먹고 사는 칼리오페는 ‘발렌타인 데이가 구정 연휴 다음에 있었으면 더 좋았을 텐데..’ 라며 눈물 머금은 마음을 안고 글을 쓰고 있답니다. (사람은 빵만으로 살지 않는다구요!)
오늘은 화폐이야기가 아닌 다른 이야기를 알려드릴게요. 다른 쪽 수집거리 이야기요. ㅋ 솔직히 화폐 수집에 관심이 있다는 건 수집본능(^^;)이 있다는 거잖아요. ^^ 저도 소중하고 예쁜 거라면 화폐 외에도 손이 간답니다. 특히 발렌타인데이 기념 같은 것이라면요.
주화 중에는 발렌타인 데이라고 해서 특별히 발행되는 건 아직 없어요. (없는 것 같아요. 그쵸? 수집가님들? ^^;;) 그런데 제가 소중하게 생각하는건 바로 프랑스 우체국에서 발행하는 우표랍니다. 매년 발렌타인 데이가 되면 패션 디자이너와 합작으로 하트 모양의 우표 컬렉션을 제작해서 선보여왔답니다.

올해는 랑방과 함께 작업을 했다는 데요, 쟌느 랑방(Jeanne Lanvin)이 아주 잘 표현했던 1920년대의 플래퍼 룩(Flapper Look) 느낌이 나는 우표인 것 같아요. 말괄량이라는 뜻의 ‘플래퍼’는 당시 자유로움을 추구하는 여성들을 가리켰다고 하죠. 우표에 보면 빨간 립스틱을 한 젊은 여성이 자유로운 생활을 영위하며 사랑의 열정에 정신을 차리지 못(!)하는 것 같아요.
'Timbre Coeur'(하트 우표)라는 컬렉션은 발렌타인 데이 한 달 전인 1월 둘째 주부터 2월 14일까지만 구입이 가능해요. 혹시나 싶어서 http://timbres.laposte.fr 에서 검색을 해봤는데, 2009년 세트 우표만 있고 그 이전 건 없더라고요.
